Mr. Lee began practice as an intern conducting trial work for the criminal enforcement division for the City of Oklahoma City. Mr. Lee served as legal advisor to the Oklahoma City Police Department during this period. Subsequently, Mr. Lee was promoted to head of the Zoning and Land Use Division of the Municipal Counselor's Office until his resignation to go into private practice in 1981 with the firm of Pate & Payne, P.C. During his tenure as head of the Zoning and Planning Division of the Municipal Counselor's Office, Mr. Lee served as legal advisor to the Planning Commission of the City of Oklahoma City, the Board of Adjustment of the City of Oklahoma City and the Historical Preservation Commission of the City of Oklahoma City. Mr. Lee joined the firm of Pate & Payne, P.C. in 1981. He was made partner in 1982. Mr. Lee's practice expanded from real estate litigation and lending documentation to include all areas of commercial and business litigation. Mr. Lee resigned as a senior partner in the firm of Pate & Payne, P.C. in 1992. Since then he has continued his practice as a trial attorney specializing in litigation involving property damage, real estate interests and transactions, contract, construction and commercial disputes. Representative clients of the firm include Cudd Pressure Control, Inc., Keller Williams Realty, BancFirst of Oklahoma City, Inc., Patterson Rental Tools, Inc., Jico, Inc., ABC Supply Company, Inc., American Capital, QEC Electrical Contractors, Inc., L&A Development Company, Inc., and Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Lee enjoys an "AV" rating through Martindal-Hubbell's rating service. This is the highest rating authorized.
